Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP GTS Consultant
As a Lead Consultant, you will be a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client’s and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
This position may require travel to Project / client locations.
This role may Involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only. In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
Preferred Qualifications
- The person responsible will contribute as a key resource supporting both production and implementation tasks/activities. The resource will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, planning, developing, testing, documenting, and implementing processes within a variety of business units.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic debugging of SAP programs to solve application or configuration issues.
- Requirements gathering, SAP design development, data mapping and conversion; including writing of functional specifications, system configuration, unit & integration testing
- Development of training materials and test scripts, go-live activation and ongoing user support
- Create and implement management changes associated with business process redesign
- Lead business transformation for redefining processes and capturing requirements
- Troubleshoot common day-to-day issues while working with the business stakeholders through resolution to ensure the agreed to SLA’s are met with quality
- Maintains active communication with business users and stakeholders to manage expectations regarding changes to the system and the introduction of new and enhanced functionality
- Manages multiple priorities in parallel
- When applicable, act as a liaison between the business, DT threads, and company leadership utilizing the Major Incident Management process during SAP outages and large work stoppage situations
Key Skills Required:
- GTS experience is a must; GTS e4H experience is a plus
- A university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment with peers, business partners, and end users
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers, peers, and team members
- Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple customers, business partners, and business priorities
- Ability to lead in a fast-moving, high-pressure software development and deployment environment
- Experience/knowledge working in the Aerospace & Defense industry is a plus
- Experience with GTS compliance processes in a highly regulated industry with a proven track record demonstrating the ability to adapt and use technology to meet business process needs
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ : $94000 to $131600
In Washington, DC : $85700 to $124600
