Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP QM Consultant

As a Lead Consultant, you will be a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client’s and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • This position may require travel to Project / client locations.
  • This role may Involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only.
Preferred Qualifications
  • The candidate must have hands-on SAP implementation experience in multiple projects with strong knowledge of design, architecting solutions in SAP Quality Management:
  • Managing master data related to Quality – Material Masters, Master Inspection Characteristics, Inspection Plans, etc.
  • Knowledge of quality specific processes such as First Article Inspection, Non-Conformances, and Corrective Actions.
  • Experience in converting data from one ERP into SAP.
  • Experience in designing solutions for discrete manufacturing & repetitive manufacturing environments is critical.
  • Strong understanding of batch processing and the downstream impact.
  • Configuration expertise within the Quality Management module of SAP.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, writing SAP requirements, process modeling, and data mapping.
  • Experience/Knowledge in SAP Production Planning, Procurement, and/or Master Date modules is a plus.
  • The candidate must have a high degree of experience and understanding in SAP Quality Management.
  • Must have the ability to manage client relationships, primarily with middle-management, and will drive consensus on complex business solutions.
  • The candidate must possess the capability to analyze business and technical requirements; and develop solutions to address the requirements and will provide industry subject matter expertise in Quality Management processes across businesses.
  • The candidate will possess SAP solution implementation experience in at least 1-2 full lifecycles of projects, with customer-facing roles and responsibility.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ, VT, MA: $94,000 to $131,600
In Washington, DC: $85,700 to $124,600
