In the assigned Job Role of Engineering Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
⦁ Elicit and document business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable specifications for the team
⦁ Participate in design meetings, create initial design concepts, and support the development of design sketches and models using established engineering tools and techniques
⦁ Participate in iterative engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, and coordinate with teams to implement feedback effectively
⦁ Develop and refine solution specifications and perform validation activities, including simulations, to ensure that engineering solutions meet design specifications and criteria
⦁ Build and refine prototypes, incorporating testing results and feedback received from cross-functional team, to enhance functionality
⦁ Undertake technical integration efforts, ensure system functionality, identify and resolve interoperability issues
⦁ Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and assist in organizing knowledge-sharing sessions among team members

Required Skill and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in manufacturing equipment, maintenance processes, and spare parts management.
Experience with procurement or supplier coordination is an advantage.).
Perform data analytics on part consumption + part availability + cost to establish strategic order quantities and recommend on-hand quantities.
Preferred Skill and Experience
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and inspection data.
Experience in Airframe and Aero structures
Additional Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Additional Details
Develop and maintain the Spare Parts strategy for production machines and equipment.
Perform deep dives of machine components (ie: pumps, motors, drives, valves, seals, cutting tools) to identify OEM Manufacturer Part numbers
Identify and qualify reliable suppliers and sourcing options for critical spare parts.
Analyze existing procurement processes and work with Supply Chain teams to reduce lead times and prevent downtime.
Support maintenance teams with technical evaluation, documentation, and engineering insights.
Review machine BOMs (Bill of material), maintenance manuals, and historical failure data to determine critical spares and stocking levels.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to ensure alignment on spare parts requirements and machine reliability goals.
