Infosys is seeking AEM Backend Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Irving, TX or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

  • At least 6 years of Information Technology experience
  • 6 years of hands-on development experience in Adobe Experience Manager and Java.
Preferred Qualifications:​​​​​
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in Adobe AEM, AEM DAM, JAVA, J2EE, Sling, JCR, Sightly/HTL, JavaScript, SCSS, HTML, Java, Spring
  • Back-end: Hands-on strong AEM Back end development experience, AEM CaaS, GraphQL, AEM workflows, Services, Schedulers, Filters, Workflows & system monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience in integrations with AEM.
  • Ability to write "Clean code" using AEM tech stack, Core Java, JEE, Collections
  • Must have a good understanding of Unit testing, test coverage.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, and deployment of web application solutions using Adobe AEM, AEM DAM, JAVA, J2EE, Sling, JCR, Sightly/HTL, JavaScript, SCSS, HTML.
  • Should have strong hands-on AEM backend development experience like services, schedulers, filters, workflows.
  • Strong expertise in AEM Content-as-a-service(Caas), GraphQL, system monitoring.
  • Collaborate with product managers, QA to define and deliver high-quality, performant software.
  • Support developers through code reviews, best practices, and technical problem-solving.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Work with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to ensure timely and quality feature delivery.


The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
