Infosys is seeking a Network Engineer primary responsibility will be design of products using Ethernet Technologies as a technical resource in developing testing methodology including testing strategy, plan, approach and scripts that support Ethernet network services. You will guide teams as a technical lead on identifying testing approach, plan, scope, priority to align with network architecture, network engineer, solution architect, solution designer and cross function teams.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mount Laurel, NJ or willing to relocate to the area. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Minimum 10+ Years of hands-on experience in design of products using Ethernet Technologies – ELAN, EPL, EVPL, ETREE, ERP.
At least 5+ Years of experience in MPLS and routing protocols like OSPF, BGP.
Metro Ethernet Forum Certified Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional.
Hands on experience in certification of Ethernet network devices like Ciena, Juniper, Cisco devices.
Basic Understanding of Optical networking, DWDM,OTN
Carrier Ethernet Basics and types of ethernet services
Comcast Network Architecture and Types of services (EDI,EPL,EVPL,ENS)
Version upgrade and test cases to be executed as part of the certification cycle
Understanding of DOCSIS
Understanding of different types of alarms
Understanding of different types of testing performed
