Infosys is seeking an Appian Architect. As an Appian Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology

Location for this position is Dallas, TX. This position require relocation or travel
Preferred Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in in depth hands on application development experience in Appian
At least 4 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes
Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skills.
Experience designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM (business process management)
Understand the differences between REST, SOAP and the basic design principles in integrating to Web Services;
Building critical Appian based application as well as associated integration components in Java;
Problem Solver and ability to estimate and size Appian business requirements;
Debug issues in Interfaces and Process Models.
Implement best practices in BPM architecture / design / coding
Ability to work and communicate effectively with program management
Good verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Provides leadership to the project team for the standards and processes throughout the life cycle of the project
Provides input to ensure adequate project staffing, budgeting and resource management
Participate in Risk Assessment, Status Assessment, Process Direction, and Communication Strategy.
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
