Your Role
SAP ECC Program Manager oversees the end‑to‑end execution of enterprise‑level SAP ECC programs involving multiple functional modules and cross-functional integration. The role includes planning, governing, and delivering ECC implementations or rollouts, closely coordinating with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors. The Program Manager ensures delivery excellence, solution integrity, and business value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complete SAP ECC programs across all phases: Blueprint → Realization → Final Prep → Go‑Live → Support.
Establish program governance structure, steering committees, RAIDs, KPIs, and escalation mechanisms.
Ensure alignment with business strategy, digital roadmap, and enterprise architecture.
Stakeholder & Executive Management where act as primary contact between C‑level executives, business leaders, and delivery teams.
Facilitate leadership updates, steering committee meetings, and decision-making forums.
Manage stakeholder expectations and drive change adoption.
Define program scope, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and quality targets.
Monitor status, risks, dependencies, and track overall program health.
Manage program financials: budget planning, burn rate, forecasting, and cost optimization.
Oversee contracts, SOWs, change requests, and vendor invoices.
Lead cutover planning, deployment readiness, go-live decisioning, and business sign‑offs.
Ensure smooth hypercare delivery and transition to AMS or Business‑As‑Usual (BAU).
Partner with OCM teams to ensure communication, training, and business readiness.
Support end-user enablement, training strategies, and adoption monitoring.
Skills
Must have 15 + years of proven leadership of large SAP ECC implementation or rollout programs.
Background in industries such as Retail, Manufacturing, Automotive, FMCG, Pharma, or High-Tech.
Strong expertise in:
Program governance
Risk & issue management
Budget & resource management
Stakeholder communication
Executive reporting
Vendor/partner management
Experience with Agile/Hybrid delivery frameworks.
Excellent communication, executive presence, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to lead culturally diverse teams across geographies.
Strong decision-making, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
High level of ownership, accountability, and strategic thinking.
SAP Project Management certification (Good to Have).
Experience in AMS transitions, upgrades (ECC EHP upgrades), or migrations (e.g., to S/4).
PMP/Prince2/SAFe certification.
