SAP PM Senior Consultant

As an SAP PM Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation, rollout, and application maintenance of SAP Plant Maintenance solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design, configure, test, deploy, and support integrated SAP PM processes.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive SAP PM experience, strong knowledge of integration with related SAP modules, and the ability to support the complete project lifecycle, from business requirements gathering and solution design through data migration, cutover, user training, and production support.

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience working with the SAP Plant Maintenance module.
  • Thorough functional experience in SAP PM, including integration with SAP MM, SAP FICO, SAP PS, SAP QM, and legacy systems.
  • Strong understanding of SAP master data, including Material Master, Bills of Materials, and other maintenance-related master data.
  • Experience with Compatible Units, including unit testing, integration testing, test plan execution, and user sign-off activities.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, calibration, refurbishment, and project-related maintenance orders.
  • Experience preparing functional specifications using relevant ABAP fields and tables.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams on user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, interfaces, enhancements, reports, data conversions, forms, and workflows.
  • Extensive experience with master data migration and cutover activities.
  • Experience in SAP PM implementations, rollout projects, application maintenance, and production support.
  • Experience across the complete SAP implementation lifecycle, including:
    • Business requirements gathering
    • Project analysis
    • Process design
    • Business blueprint preparation
    • SAP configuration
    • Data loading
    • Unit testing
    • Integration testing
    • User acceptance and sign-off
    • Production support
  • Strong knowledge of ASAP implementation methodology.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, functional consultants, developers, and cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience leading SAP PM workstreams or coordinating functional activities within complex SAP programs.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or asset-intensive business environments.
  • Knowledge of additional SAP logistics, project, quality, or finance processes.
  • Experience integrating SAP PM with multiple legacy applications and external systems.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-location SAP implementations and rollouts.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance or Asset Management.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, structured, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a geographically distributed team.
  • Strong commitment to quality, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP PM solutions.
  • Design, configure, implement, and support SAP Plant Maintenance processes.
  • Support preventive, breakdown, calibration, refurbishment, and project-related maintenance order processes.
  • Design SAP PM integration with SAP MM, SAP FICO, SAP PS, SAP QM, legacy systems, and other relevant applications.
  • Prepare functional specifications for interfaces, enhancements, reports, data conversions, forms, workflows, user exits, BADIs, and BAPIs.
  • Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams during solution development, testing, defect resolution, and deployment.
  • Participate in all implementation phases, including requirements gathering, process analysis, blueprinting, configuration, data migration, testing, cutover, deployment, and production support.
  • Plan and execute unit testing, integration testing, test plans, and user sign-off activities.
  • Perform and support master data migration, data validation, and cutover activities.
  • Support SAP PM rollout projects and Application Maintenance Services.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, training materials, and end-user handouts.
  • Organize and facilitate user training workshops and knowledge-transfer sessions.
  • Provide post-go-live and production support, including issue analysis, resolution, and continuous process improvement.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure that SAP PM solutions meet operational and integration requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assigned activities in accordance with project standards, quality expectations, and agreed milestones.
