Data Product Manager/Business Analyst - Securities Markets Technology (Capital Markets)
The Role – What You’ll Do
You will be part of a cross-cultural global team working on a variety of business consulting engagements in Capital Market. You will be a part of a world-class product management team which will help drive innovation and improve user experience in capital market area.
You will take up a range of roles in the areas of process consulting, experience design, business analysis, applied AI, tech strategy, program and change management. You will analyze problems and come up with solutions, often creative and out-of-the-box, apply business consulting frameworks and methodologies to address business problems, collaborate with client stakeholders and be responsible for the delivery of business results to clients.

Infosys Consulting's Financial Services Practice is seeking experienced Product manager with capital market Industry experience to be hired at a Senior Consultant Level.

Responsibilities

  • Document and understand the end-to-end process workflow for each of data domain applications in capital markets.
  • Understand data lineage and do data analysis to be able to identify differences in datasets between various domains to accurately address the primary source of information
  • Document data mapping, business processes and data transformations
  • Analyze data across various data sources to do comparison of data hierarchy
  • Document data contracts for both the producing and consuming domains
Required Skills
  • Candidate must have 5+ years of experience working with capital markets firms; at least 7-8 yrs experience working in FS firms
  • Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience working with capital market data flows E: g in any of the areas such as Holdings, Transactions, Reference data (security, pricing, accounts) , trades data, GL mapping & journal, Sub Ledger, P&L, P&L attribution, credit and Market risk, sec lending, cash balance, cash projections etc.
  • Candidate must understand data hierarchy taxonomy, data domain concepts
  • Candidate must be able to query and analyze data using SQL tools
  • Candidate must have the ability to write SQL to query data sets
  • . BS / BA in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting
  • Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; be a self-starter with good foundational consulting skills
  • Working knowledge of Jira & Confluence
  • Familiarity with AI tools for vibe coding ( lovable etc.)

Additional Skills (not mandatory)
  • Exposure to data governance frameworks and domain ownership models
  • Understanding of data modelling and taxonomy concepts for asset management domains
