We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HR Developer with Techno-Functional expertise to support and enhance SAP HCM solutions. The role involves developing custom ABAP objects, supporting HR business processes, and collaborating with functional teams across modules such as PA, OM, Time Management, and Payroll.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP with HCM/HR module.
- Exposure to S/4HANA compatibility for HCM integrations
- Knowledge and technical support for PA, OM, Time Management, Payroll processes.
- Hands-on experience with Enhancements (BADI/User Exits), BAPI, IDoc, ALV.
- Understanding of HR data structures, Infotypes, and reporting.
- Experience in interfaces and data migration tools.
- Good understanding of data privacy and security in HR systems
- Experience in working in support and enhancement projects
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and support ABAP objects in SAP HCM (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Conversions).
- Work with HR Infotypes, PNP/PNPCE logical database, and HR function modules.
- Develop and maintain HR forms (Smart Forms / Adobe Forms) and interfaces with third-party systems.
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to improve HR processes and system efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation and support testing activities.
Functional Understanding: - Good understanding of SAP HR/HCM business processes
- Functional knowledge in one or more of the following:
- PA
- OM
- Time Management
- Payroll
- ESS/MSS
- Ability to read and understand functional specifications and convert them into technical solutions
- Experience in working with HR master data and employee lifecycle processes
Soft Skills - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement
