Short Description:
We are seeking highly skilled hands on Performance Engineer experience to collaborate with Design, Architects, PO, third party vendors and implement Performance Tunings solutions for cloud and in house applications, highly skilled Big Data, Payments, Microsoft Azure and AWS SaaS/PaaS services.

Location: Sydney NSW , Australia

Salary Range: AUD $ 108,571,232 - $119,893 Annual Gross.

Please Note:- The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform system‑level validation of ETL and ELT data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and presentation layers.
  • Validate end‑to‑end data flows from source systems to target platforms including Snowflake and Azure Synapse.
  • Design and execute data validation checks for:
    • Batch, incremental, and full data loads
    • ELT‑based transformations executed within Snowflake / Synapse
    • Complex business rules, aggregations, and calculations
  • Perform source‑to‑target reconciliation, including record counts, balancing, aggregates, and control totals.
  • Validate Informatica PowerCenter (PC) and IDMC pipelines, including mappings, transformations, and load logic.
  • Execute system validation for Snowflake schemas, transformations, and downstream consumption layers.
  • Support data issue triage, root‑cause analysis, and fixes in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Validate audit fields, lineage attributes, and data controls required for banking compliance.
  • Support system testing cycles, regression validation, and cutover readiness.

Required Skills & Experience
Data Engineering / Validation
  • Strong experience validating ETL and ELT pipelines in enterprise or cloud data platforms.
  • Expertise in data reconciliation, data quality checks, and system‑level validation.
  • Experience working with large‑volume datasets (TB scale).
Platform‑Specific Skills
  • Snowflake
    • Validation of ELT transformations, schemas, and analytical outputs
    • Strong SQL skills for data checks and aggregation validation
  • Azure Synapse
    • Experience validating Synapse SQL pools and warehouse‑style data models
  • Informatica (PC / IDMC)
    • Validation of mappings, transformations, sequencing, and error handling
SQL & Analysis
  • Strong SQL for joins, aggregations, comparisons, and anomaly detection.
  • Ability to interpret complex transformation logic and business rules.
Banking / Regulated Environment
  • Experience working in banking or regulated financial services environments preferred.
  • Understanding of data governance, auditability, reconciliation, and controls


Skill / Competencies / Experience:


ESSENTIAL:
  • Good knowledge of technology landscape to be able to guide team.
  • Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

  3. Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
