Azure APIM Consultant
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 8+ years of experience with Information Technology.

• Candidate with strong experience with Azure API Management and Azure Integration Services, including: 
  ·       Azure APIM
  ·       Azure Logic Apps
  ·       Azure Functions
  Solid understanding of: 
  ·       REST APIs, JSON, XML
  ·       Messaging systems (Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs)
  ·       Integration patterns 
  Experience with Azure security, networking, and identity management. 
  Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). 
  Strong command of error handling, retries, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.

• Responsible for:

• Monitoring, supporting, and maintaining APIs hosted on Azure API Management in a production environment.

• Ensuring high availability and performance by handling incidents, troubleshooting API issues, managing policies, certificates, and integrations, and coordinating root cause analysis.

• Working closely with development and cloud teams to deploy fixes, manage releases, and adhere to SLAs, security, and compliance requirements.
