835ATHLDUS Technology Lead


Infosys is seeking a Network Refresh lead. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tampa FL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years Information Technology experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Hands and feed support for Data Center operations.

  • Pre-stage network devices based on standard configurations and best practices.
  • Conduct technical configuration reviews with engineers (MOP) to the build being scheduled and placed into production.
  • Participate in developing overall schedules and forecast for the refresh program.
  • Schedule network builds utilizing change management tools and operating practices.
  • Assure schedules for each build are approved and coordinate with testers from the SRE application teams, Data Center HSS technical resources and Change Management organization.
  • Align testers, application (SRE) teams, Data Center HSS techs for the day of the change to assure all parties are scheduled and will be in place on the date and time for each change.
  • Notify the Network Operations Center in specific slack channels when the change is going to start and when it is completed to assure no network alarms or issue exists.
  • Ensure that during each change complete certification, the change was completed as planned and all testing organizations have signed off.
  • Update devnote records and assure the network device is in the fault management tools and inventory.
  • Close out the change record updating the notes with key information known during the change success, any issues, backouts, next steps, etc.
  • Package pickup and delivery to include large shipments on the loading docks or mailrooms.
  • Coordinate / prepare for shipment and transfer of equipment to other locations.
  • Move (Lift and shift) hardware to the appropriate storage locations after HRS updated.
  • RMA all parts as required including tracking of those parts using HRS tool.
  • Hardware shipment receiving / tracking of all IT devices, and parts.
  • Large assets are tracked in both HRS and DC Tracks.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Collaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization’s Datacenter operations environment.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, messages, emails and/or work orders regarding datacenter operations problems.
  • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with project guidelines.
  • Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to technical teams, business stakeholders.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Good Communication and Analytical skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
