Role Description: Infosys is seeking a dynamic, strategic and innovative Senior Power BI Consultant to facilitate the organization’s mission to grow and evolve Infosys’ Data and Analytics business unit. The successful candidate will distinguish herself or himself by being a coach to the CEOs of Infosys’ client-base to navigate business transformation using the power of data and AI. S/He will be leading and contributing to strategic master plan and advisory engagements with the client to develop data and AI led initiatives for transformation, S/He can also be involved in the execution and delivery of such engagements in a leadership role. S/He will act as the brand-ambassador for Infosys and represent Infosys’ thought leadership in public forums and media.

Salary: AUD 108,571- 119,893 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI report/dashboard issues, including data refresh failures, performance bottlenecks, and visualization problems.
- Serve as the first point of contact for Power BI-related issues and requests.
- Support end-users in navigating and using Power BI reports and features effectively.
- Monitor scheduled data refreshes and ensure report reliability and accuracy.
- Work with data engineers and report developers to address data inconsistencies or system bugs.
- Maintain documentation of recurring issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolution outcomes.
- Assist in the development and testing of new reports or dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and organizational policies.
- Provide user training and knowledge transfer for new Power BI features and reports.
Essential:- 8+ years of experience in a support or analyst role working with Power BI.
- Strong understanding of Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, and DAX.
- Knowledge on ADF, Databricks, Unity Catalog and Purview is a plus
- Experience in handling large datasets, troubleshooting data model performance and implementing RLS .
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
