Role : Network Engineer

Location: Perth

Salary: AUD 108,571– 119,893 Annual Gross

Please Note: - The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes

Key Responsibilities:
  • At least 4+ years of hands-on tool experience on Network – WAN/LAN/WLAN/ SDWAN MAN/MPLS/VPN and data communications technologies.
  • Good Communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Network – WAN/LAN/WLAN/ SDWAN MAN/MPLS/VPN and data communications technologies. IP Routing protocols – BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VRRP, LDP,RSVP, STP, RSTP, MSTP, Multicast, Policy based routing, Switches/Routers/Load balancers/WAN/ SDWAN Optimizers/ Firewalls
  • Beginning level of understanding on Network technologies and solutions including IPv6, MPLs, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, multicast, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, traffic-shaping, Load balancing, VPN tunnels, WAN Optimization.
  • Good understanding of Network security policies and firewall administration for Cisco, Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls

Role Description
  • Implement bug fixes, minor enhancements etc.
  • Work actively with team members to enhance, analyze and resolve application issues.
  • Identify defects/discrepancies to identify the root cause by debugging or analyzing logs
  • Improve application stability by observing patterns, recurring alerts or issues for permanent fix or automation.
  • Identify alerts / processes that can be automated and then work with engineering team to automate them.
  • Challenge existing application setup, processing and suggest different ways to solve problem or improve stability.
