Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineering Analyst

As a Quality Engineering Analyst, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
  • 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, ON/ Mississauga, ON/ Calgary, AL or be willing to relocate to one of these areas. This position may require travel.
  • At least 4 years of software testing experience.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in performance testing
  • Excellent performance engineering experience or equivalent knowledge in Software Engineering
  • Experience in testing, troubleshooting & providing tuning recommendations for applications.
  • Experience in various software development and test methodologies.
  • Experience in performance testing tools such as Loadrunner Enterprise, Apache, JMeter.
  • Experience in performance tuning of SQL queries.
  • Experience with JVM tuning techniques.
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment


Additional preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of more than one performance tool
  • Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills
  • Awareness of latest technologies and trends
  • Good problem solving, analytical and debugging skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 66183 to $ 80721
