  • SharePoint Platforms(Primary):
    • SharePoint Online (Office 365)
    • SharePoint Server (2013, 2016, 2019)
    • PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration
  • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities)SharePoint Administrator:
    • Install and configure SharePoint Server or SharePoint Online environments.
    • Set up site collections, subsites, and configure content types, metadata, and libraries.
    • Ensure optimal settings for document management, security, and user access.
    • Manage user permissions (SharePoint groups, Active Directory, etc.) and access levels (read, write, full control).
    • Configure security policies, audit logs, and data protection for sensitive information.
    • Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational policies.
    • Address and resolve technical issues related to site functionality, document libraries, workflows, and access errors.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to SharePoint features like web parts, custom solutions, and third-party apps.
    • Investigate and resolve performance issues (slow page loads, search problems, etc.).
    • Set up and manage SharePoint backups, ensuring disaster recovery plans are in place.
    • Perform regular restores of SharePoint sites or items when necessary.
    • Monitor SharePoint servers to ensure availability, uptime, and performance.
    • Apply patches, updates, and service packs to keep the system up to date.
    • Maintain server hardware, databases, and integrate with other enterprise systems (Exchange, Teams, etc.).
    • Assist users with creating and managing custom SharePoint workflows, forms, and lists.
    • Work with the IT development team to implement or customize SharePoint features as per business requirements.
    • Help teams manage document libraries, list permissions, and metadata for effective content organization.
    • Ensure content governance policies are being adhered to, such as retention, archival, and version control.
    • Develop custom SharePoint applications, web parts, and integrations using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, or Visual Studio.
    • Integrate SharePoint with other tools and systems (CRM, ERP, Office 365 apps).
