Infosys is seeking a Test Automation Lead.
As an API Test Automation Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- 4 years of Information Technology experience.

- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Denver, CO or St Louis, MO or be willing to relocate one of these areas.
- This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
- At least 4 years of software testing experience.
- Expertise in analyzing JVM/GC, SQL query performance, caching, and API response optimization.
- Good understanding of microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and on-premises setup
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with global teams and coordinate between onsite and offshore resources.
- Experience with Kubernetes, or containerized environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Drive Strategic initiatives and improvements/innovations with respect to performance testing and engineering
- Ability to create and implement a timeline-based roadmap that define goals, objectives and outcomes of various initiatives
- Ability to define Non-Functional Requirements, regularly conduct Volumetric Analysis independently with minimal support from Business and Technical Stakeholders
- Ability to build cadence-based approach for testing Critical APIs and existing BAU test Suite regularly
- Ability to drive and handle both releases based and program-based performance engineering tasks
- Ability to drill down into performance issues with multi-tier investigation and conduct root case analysis and provide recommendations with minimal support
- Proficient in Performance Scripting Tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
- Use APM tools (e.g. Splunk, Grafana, Datadog) to monitor real-time performance and identify system trends.
- Develop performance baselines and KPIs to measure ongoing system health.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure the performance and scalability of their services.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the Performance Engineering team.
- Communicate performance updates, issues, risks, and solutions to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and timely manner.
- Ensure that the team follows best practices and processes for performance engineering and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to identify and address performance issues and implement solutions.
- Drive continuous improvements and innovation within the Performance Engineering team, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles.
- Good to have experience on Batch, Kafka and UI based Performance engineering methodologies

For candidates based out of Denver, CO estimated annual compensation will be
$75,358 to $97,965
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
