Infosys is seeking a ETL Python Test Lead.

As a ETL Python Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • 4+ years of Information Technology experience.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, FL or be willing to relocate to one of these areas.
  • This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
  • At least 4 years of software testing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Design and develop a scalable Python-based test automation framework for validating data pipelines and reports.
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on data and ETL pipelines.
  • Proven proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting.
  • Solid experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, product owners, and QA teams to define effective test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Build and maintain test data sets tailored to individual product requirements and make them available to SDETs for functional testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and output validation.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis and validation using SQL across diverse data sources.
  • Integrate automated tests into pipelines to enable continuous validation and early detection.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with development teams to drive resolution
  • Experience with Java and Selenium for UI or legacy test framework support.

  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and AWS.

  • Exposure to data governance, data quality, and metadata management tools


The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
