Your Role
As an Onshore SAP Datasphere Lead, you will own the enterprise data and analytics transformation for Retail / Wholesale Grocery programs running on SAP S/4HANA (RISE with SAP – Private Cloud).
You will act as the onshore design authority and client facing lead for SAP Datasphere (SAP Business Data Cloud), driving the replacement of legacy data warehouses, enabling semantic rich data products, and ensuring seamless consumption by reporting, planning, and advanced analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise data warehouse modernization & define the target data architecture.
• Act as the primary onshore and client facing Datasphere lead.
• Own end to end SAP Datasphere architecture to ensure Datasphere serves as the standardized data layer to govern Clean Core and side by side extensibility aligned with RISE with SAP – Private Cloud.
• Design and govern data provisioning from SAP S/4HANA and SAP Datasphere to Azure Data Lake.
• Enable business analytics across business functions like Store operations, Merchandise management, Supply chain & replenishment, Procurement & Finance.
• Support real time and near real time insights for grocery retail decision making.
• Govern transport, lifecycle management, and release cycles across landscapes.
• Facilitate architecture and design workshops.
• Review and approve designs and deliverables.
• Lead migration of existing Power BI reports.

Skills
Must have

• Experience in SAP data, analytics, or data warehousing
• Proven onshore, client facing leadership experience
• Strong hands on and architectural expertise with SAP Datasphere (SAP BDC)
• Experience leading data warehouse transformation programs

Nice to have

• Experience in Retail / Wholesale Grocery environments & knowledge of relevant data models
• Strong understanding of RISE with SAP – Private Cloud
• SAP Datasphere or SAC certification
• Global or multi country rollout experience
