Short Description:
Looking for Support engineer who has significant experience across cyber security domains like InfraSec, Data Security, GRC etc. and willing to work in 24 X 7 security operations support environment.
Salary Range- 82544- 87992 AUD Total Gross
Please Note: - The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes.

Location:

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with business stakeholders, other Engineers, Iteration Managers, Architect, Security team.
- Liaising and working with Professional Services Engineers and Solutions Architects around client projects and deployments.
- Keeping detailed knowledge of the clients’ environment(s) by maintaining and updating relevant documentation such as Network Diagrams, Configuration Databases along with process and procedural documentation
- Take initiative to problem solve with positive attitude towards feedback from team for improvements.
- Adaptable and flexible with ability to multi-tasking.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, processes and procedures.
- Able to manage reliability and availability functions for different platforms.
- Ensure continuous improvement with a focus on driving automations.
- Develop colleagues and continue to build out the capability of the team
Skills /Competencies:
Essential:
- Extensive operation/implementation support experience in at least one of below platforms
- CISCO ASA
- CISCO FTD
- CISCO Firewall
- CISCO Stealth watch
- FortiGate
- Next Generation IPS/IDS
- Experienced deploying and supporting to Amazon and Azure environments
- Experience on OS level security across Windows, Linux.
- Ability to diagnose and conduct root cause analysis
- Experience in run book, service transition, design documentation and service continuity
- Establish alerting thresholds/triggers, analyse alerts from various sources within the enterprise, and determine possible causes and effects on the systems and data
- Experience working in a hybrid cloud and on-premise environment
Preferred
- Good knowledge on Infrastructure and Network Security concepts
- Work in Agile environment. Should be familiar with JIRA, Confluence etc.
- Understands the need to comply with coding and deployment standards
- Take initiative to problem solve
- Positive attitude towards feedback from team for improvements
- Adaptable and flexible with ability to multi-tasking
- Willingness to share knowledge and good working ethic
Additional Skills:
- Ability to diagnose and conduct root cause analysis
- Experience working in a hybrid cloud and on-premise environment
- Experience working in the telecommunications sector
- Understanding process for deploying and enforcing application control
- Delivery of technical design documentation
- Experienced in using version management tools such as Git
- Provide effort estimates for new investment requests.
