Your role

In the role of Lead developer, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required

• Work on application enhancement and support - Java based application deployed on AWS cloud
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and other relational databases.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure data security and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Spring Batch, Springboot and Java for backend development
• PostgreSQL and relational databases
• Building and consuming RESTful APIs

Preferred
• Experience with:
• AWS Cloud services
• JIRA, GIT, ServiceNow
• GitHub CoPilot
• Familiarity with DevOps practices - Pipeline, EKS, S3
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
