Role Description:

Infosys is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Lead to lead the functional design and delivery of enterprise CRM solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to translate business requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 solutions while ensuring high-quality delivery across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules and proven experience leading functional teams in complex, multi-stream implementations.

Location: Melbourne
Salary: AUD 150,742 – 171,215 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Functional Lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM implementations across one or multiple projects.
  • Lead business requirement gathering, analysis, and functional solution design workshops with stakeholders.
  • Translate business processes into functional specifications, user stories, and configuration designs.
  • Provide functional leadership across Dynamics 365 modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Case Management.
  • Define and validate solution designs including business rules, workflows, automation, and security roles.
  • Work closely with technical architects and developers to ensure functional requirements are correctly implemented.
  • Review configurations, customisations, and integrations to ensure alignment with business expectations.
  • Support data migration, system integration, testing strategy, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Manage functional risks, dependencies, and scope changes in collaboration with project managers.
  • Support change management, training, and user adoption activities.
  • Mentor and guide junior functional consultants and analysts.
  • Participate in pre‑sales activities including solution demonstrations, estimates, and proposal inputs when required.
Essential:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
  • Strong functional expertise in one or more Dynamics 365 modules:
  • Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Marketing
  • Field Service (desirable)
  • Proven experience leading functional streams or work packages on enterprise CRM programs.
  • Expertise in:
  • Business process mapping and requirements analysis
  • Configuration of entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and security
  • Functional design documentation and solution mapping
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse and Dynamics 365 data model.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in onsite–offshore delivery models.

Preferred:
  • Microsoft certifications such as:
  • Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant certifications
  • Power Platform Functional Consultant
  • Experience with Power Platform:
  • Power Automate
  • Power Apps
  • Power Pages (functional exposure)
  • Experience in public sector, utilities, financial services, Insurances or other regulated industries.
  • Exposure to large-scale digital transformation or multi-system integration programs.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales, RFPs, or solution design activities.
