Role Description: Infosys is seeking a dynamic, strategic and innovative Portfolio Manager to facilitate the organization’s mission to grow and evolve Infosys’ Data and Analytics business unit. The successful candidate will distinguish herself or himself by being a coach to the CEOs of Infosys’ client-base to navigate business transformation using the power of data and AI. S/He will be leading and contributing to strategic master plan and advisory engagements with the client to develop data and AI led initiatives for transformation, S/He can also be involved in the execution and delivery of such engagements in a leadership role. S/He will act as the brand-ambassador for Infosys and represent Infosys’ thought leadership in public forums and media.

Salary: AUD 185,167 – 205,170 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end‑to‑end MDM architecture for MDM implementation using Informatica IDMC MDM or Informatica’s on premise solutions
  • Create high‑level design and technical architecture documents.
  • Design data models, match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and hierarchies for domains such as Supplier, Customer, or Location.
  • Manage delivery of MDM initiatives across multiple business domains.
  • Drive architecture, design reviews, solutioning, and technical governance.
  • Define standards for MDM data model design, entity structure, survivorship, and match logic.
  • Drive integration architecture between MDM, IDQ, CRM, ERP, and downstream systems.
  • Guide teams in configuring Hub, BES, IDD, APIs, and batch jobs.
  • Review IDQ implementation strategies for profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and monitoring.
  • Work with data stewards to enforce governance, security, and lineage.
  • Ensure scalability and performance optimization across the MDM ecosystem.
  • Evaluate new MDM features, cloud adoption, migration strategies, and modernization paths.
  • Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
Essential:
  • 12+ years overall IT experience with 7+ year of strong MDM experience in MDM, including 3+ years in Informatica MDM leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Hub Console, IDD, SIF APIs, BES Services, Hierarchy Manager
    • Match engines, tokenization, identity resolution
    • Complex survivorship configurations & trust management
    • MDM workflows (ActiveVOS)
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of IDQ (profiling, cleansing, matching, enrichment).
  • Advanced SQL, PLSQL, and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience with:
    • REST/SOAP integrations
    • PowerCenter / IDMC ETL pipelines
    • API gateways, ESB (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)
  • Familiarity with security & governance:
    • Role-based access (RBA)
    • Data lineage
    • Audit and compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of DevOps: Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, artifact management.
  • Excellent understanding of domain models: customer, product, vendor, reference data.

Preferred:
