Senior Python Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with 9+ years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions. The ideal candidate excels in backend development, API design, and modern engineering best practices, and can collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high‑quality Python applications.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and automation scripts.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, QA engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following industry best practices.
• Integrate third‑party services, APIs, and external data sources into applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across multiple layers of the application stack.
• Participate in code reviews and help elevate engineering standards across the team.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong expertise in Python 3.x.
• Proven experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and modern web application principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Pandas, NumPy, or similar data processing libraries (if the role involves data workloads).
• Familiarity with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, plus optional exposure to NoSQL data stores.
• Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary development workflows.
• Deep understanding of object‑oriented programming and software design principles.
• Ability to write comprehensive unit tests and maintain high code quality.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
