Role: Principal Consultant

Location: Sydney

Salary: AUD 148,915 -171,987 (Annual Gross)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of process transformation initiatives across CIB

  • Own delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and reporting across multiple squads

  • Facilitate Agile and Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retros)

  • Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) with clear ownership and mitigation

  • Drive structured delivery governance, scope management, change control, and readiness checks

  • Align closely with Business Analysts, Solution Designers, Architects, Developers, and SMEs to ensure delivery sequencing and integration

  • Provide regular delivery updates to senior stakeholders and ensure transparent status reporting

  • Partner with risk, controls, and compliance teams to ensure processes, designs, and releases meet internal requirements

  • Support onshore and offshore team coordination, ensuring consistent delivery rhythm and communication

  • Maintain documentation, decision logs, and post-release retros for continuous improvement

  • Foster disciplined, predictable delivery practices across squads and uplift ways of working

  • Support capability building across delivery, Agile, documentation standards, and stakeholder communication



Essential:
  • Proven experience delivering large multi-stream initiatives in complex enterprise environments

  • Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience, including running ceremonies and managing sprint flow

  • Excellent planning, RAID management, dependency coordination, and delivery governance skills

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups across business, product, engineering, design, and controls

  • Experience in CIB, financial services, or similarly regulated operational environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience working with mixed onshore/offshore delivery models

  • Ability to translate business needs into structured delivery plans, aligned milestones, and clear outcomes

  • Strong experience preparing RAG status reports, delivery dashboards, and executive-level delivery summaries


Preferred:
  • Experience in workflow automation, digitisation, low-code delivery, or process re-engineering

  • Working knowledge of Power Platform, integration patterns, or enterprise delivery constraints (not hands-on)

  • Exposure to Co-Pilot Studio, AI-assisted workflow improvements, or process optimisation use cases

  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture checkpoints, controls, and risk/governance frameworks

  • Experience with cross-portfolio planning or PMO alignment

  • Experience leading program increments or cross-squad synchronisation
