Salary: AUD 108,571– 119,893 Annual Gross

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Active Directory and Windows Server and VMWare environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level Active Directory services in a single-domain, single-forest architecture, ensuring security, reliability, and compliance. On the Hypervisor platform, excellent hands-on experience on VMWare ESXi, VxRail and PowerFlex environments is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Active Directory:

  • Strong experience with Active Directory and Windows Server in single-domain, single-forest environments.
  • Implement and configure Active Directory and Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025).
  • Proven experience in domain controller upgrade projects from Windows Server 2016 Core to Windows Server 2025 Core (essential).
  • Perform Active Directory Tiering and manage DC build/decommission processes.
    Configure and maintain ADDS including forests, domains, trusts, group policies, and replication.
  • Patch domain controllers using SCCM, Azure Update Manager and WSUS; troubleshoot Windows update issues.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Windows File Servers and DFS Namespaces.
  • Manage DNS servers (domain controllers)
  • Implement best practices for authentication, authorization, and access controls.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
  • Conduct AD health checks, auditing, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Troubleshoot Azure AD Connect for directory synchronization and authentication.
  • Knowledge of Certificate Services and security hardening.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and auditing concepts.
  • Experience in Azure AD Connect

Hypervisor:
  • VMware vSphere Administration: Strong hands-on experience with hypervisor and compute virtualization technologies - Install, configure, and manage ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and related components, CLI as well.
  • Hardware Management: Administer PowerFlex systems, perform VxRail updates, and troubleshoot vSAN clusters.
  • Updates & Operations: Manage VMware Aria operations, log operations, vCenter updates and upgrades, ESXi updates and upgrades, and DOME activities.
  • Hardware Replacement: Replace VxRail nodes, PowerFlex nodes, and PowerEdge servers as required.
  • Virtual Machine Builds: Provision and configure VMs for Windows, Linux, and appliance workloads.
  • Access Management: Create and manage roles for vCenter access.
  • Hardware Migration: Perform hardware replacement and migration from one RAC to another.
  • Design & Implementation of Disaster Recovery Solution with VMware SRM.
  • Replication: Configure and manage replication using VRMS within the same cluster with local storage.
  • Expertise experience on VMware vSphere upgrade, P2V V2V Migration and Server Migration along with PowerShell scripting.
  • Expertise on solving Performance issues and worked in resolving Major outages.
  • Expertise in performance analysis and tuning
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills
  • Should be able to provide capacity planning & sizing.
  • Creating Clusters for High Availability (HA) and Distributive Resource Scheduling (DRS)
  • Configured Resource Pool, V Motion, Alerts, Alarms, NTP
  • Support server patching, backups, and failover testing.
