Role: Principal Consultant

Location: Melbourne

Salary: AUD 148,915 171,987 (Annual Gross)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Must have 15+ years of BY TMS Experience in TM, TP, TMOD and logistics procurement.

  • Should have strong knowledge of APIs for integration with external applications

  • Should have working experience in EDI integrations and Rail Integrations

  • Knowledge of carrier collaboration module nice to have

  • Should have exceptional communication skills and business & IT stakeholder management

  • Should have the knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning and functional and interface designs etc.

  • Liaise with business users/client managers/ specialists to understand the requirements / problem statements.

  • Should provide technical leadership to project team(s) to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.

  • Should be responsible for defining and documenting solution, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements.

  • Need to collaborate with multiple teams from Infosys/customer to arrive at technical and tactical decisions.

  • Provide thought leadership and makes decision independently / interact directly with customers

  • Facilitate fit/gap analysis, identifies impacts and prepare training related to Supply Planning processes.

  • Should be involved in deployments/rollouts and day-to-day continuous improvements

  • Develop and test Custom BY TMS programs to support data conversions & interfaces, reports, enhancements and forms development

  • Strong Retail Functional Knowledge

  • Should understand BY TMS Technical Architecture and guide the Technical Team for the same.

  • Co-ordinate and manage BY Support Ticket as and when it is raised.

  • Replicate and resolve the internal bugs of the system.

  • Developing and Testing the new enhancements.

  • Should have experience in multiple BY TMS application versions.

  • Debug and resolve a variety of issues (bugs, performance, and user) by reading through trace files

  • Develop utilities, procedures, and documentation upon customer requirements

  • Maintain application release control (version control)

  • Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of applications

  • Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing new solutions and services

  • Ability to design and develop POCs to customer on the preferred solution



Essential:
  • Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Windows/Unix environment

  • Experience in Pl/sql programming

  • Experience with Oracle databases - SQL: queries, stored procedures

  • Strong conceptual understanding in the Supply Chain Planning and Optimization

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting skills

  • Strong Communicator and has Onsite experience.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, dynamic environment

  • Exhibit a commitment to customer service while building customer partnerships.

  • Knowledge on other JDA modules would be an added advantage

  • Strong consulting mindset, exceptional client Interfacing skills

  • Prior experience in leading implementation teams would be desirable
