Infosys –– Senior Scrum Master

• Sr. Scrum Master – The Sr. Scrum Master will facilitate the agile processes, coach teams on Scrum principles, and remove impediments to help the team be productive and self-organizing. Key responsibilities include running daily stand-ups and other Scrum events, shielding the team from external interruptions, and ensuring the team adheres to the Scrum framework. The role is one of a servant-leader and facilitator, not a traditional manager, with a focus on improving team performance and continuous improvement.
• Core responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Scrum events: Lead and facilitate all Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments: Identify and remove obstacles or blockers that slow down the team's progress.
  • Coach the team: Coach the team and the broader organization on agile principles, values, and practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Shield the team: Protect the team from external distractions and interruptions to maintain their focus and productivity.
  • Promote collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders, including the Product Owner.
  • Ensure Scrum adherence: Make sure the team is following the Scrum framework and principles effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 8+ years’ experience in IT Industry and minimum 3-4 yrs. Experience as Scrum Master

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.
• Leadership abilities, often described as servant-leadership.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

• Has experience in the Salesforce domain and understanding of the Salesforce sales Cloud.
• Should have Scrum Master certification.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• 7+ Agile model/Scrum
• Execution of scrum ceremonies: Sprint planning, Daily scrum/standup meeting, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective.

• Proficient in English communication
• Experience in software development life cycle including agile. Participates in implementations of new systems or modifications to existing systems to meet Information Systems and client business requirements.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
