TOSCA Test Automation Lead (SAP)

As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will play a crucial role in our team, meticulously testing software products to ensure they meet the highest standards. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will help us deliver exceptional software solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of robust TOSCA test automation strategies and frameworks for SAP applications and their integration with 15-20 other systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior QA engineers, resolving complex queries and fostering test automation best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with business and functional experts, BSS teams, and key users to define, develop, execute, maintain, and update automated test scripts for diverse SAP functionalities.
  • Assign daily tasks to the automation team, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Translate complex SAP business requirements into effective, comprehensive test scenarios and cases suitable for automation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex, highly reusable TOSCA automated test scripts, ensuring efficient DEX (Distributed Execution).
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated test execution, the TOSCA environment, and system integrations.
  • Assist in triaging issues found during testing, helping to categorize, prioritize, and assign them for resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and drive continuous improvement in automation processes.
Required Qualifications & Core Competencies:
  • Experience:
    • 8-10 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
    • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, in-depth experience with Tricentis TOSCA Test Automation for SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, BW) and their integration.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Extensive experience in test automation methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
    • Deep proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining complex TOSCA automated test scripts, with a strong focus on reusability and DEX execution.
    • Great experience with Tricentis DEX (Distributed Execution) machines for efficient test execution.
    • Strong understanding of SAP business processes and relevant modules (e.g., Origination, GTM, FI/CO, SD, MM, PP) and integration with multiple external systems (15-20 systems).
    • Some knowledge of Signavio and Live Compare is a plus.
  • Leadership & Soft Skills:
    • Proven ability to mentor junior QAs, resolve technical queries, and provide effective technical leadership.
    • Great communication skills to collaborate effectively with business and functional experts, and cross-functional teams.
    • Superior organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage testing activities across multiple teams.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Certifications & Language:
    • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Tricentis Certified Professional (TOSCA, qTest) are highly desirable.
    • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
