Infosys Consulting is looking for a highly experienced Senior Principal – Functional Solution Architect to join our North America Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) Practice, supporting leading Semiconductor clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, enterprise solution architecture, and the design of integrated cross-functional business processes to drive complex transformation initiatives.
About the Role:
You will join the North American CMT team, partnering with consulting leadership and sales to drive growth and delivery strategy, and helping to recruit and build high-performing teams. You will lead or participate in client teams responsible for problem definition, solution design, development and deployment for major transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing end-to-end SAP solutions, aligning business requirements with SAP best practices, and guiding functional teams during implementations and transformations.
- SAP experience with strong functional consulting background
- Experience in large-scale SAP transformation or global rollout projects
- Experience in multiple SAP functional modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, or EWM
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
- Proven experience in solution design and architecture for SAP programs
- Good understanding of integration between SAP modules and third-party systems
- Experience in FIT-GAP analysis, business process re-engineering, and solution design
- Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and project lifecycle
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and interact with senior stakeholders
Design:- Design and architect end-to-end SAP solutions across multiple functional modules.
- Lead solution design for SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, and transformation programs.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Conduct FIT-GAP analysis and define system architecture aligned with SAP best practices.
- Define solution architecture, data flow, and process design documentation.
- Define KDDs and socialize with Workstream Leads and escalate through the governance model when required.
- Define strategic technology alignment to functional capabilities.
- Review RICEFW customizations and approval.
- Participate in Design Review Boards.
- Support the prioritization of scope decomposition and the technology roadmap.
- Contribute to planning and roadmap of future phases.
Build:- Review functional specifications (RICEFW objects) and ensure alignment with solution architecture.
- Guide and mentor functional consultants and project teams.
- Socialize KDDs with Tech Functional Owners and escalate through governance model when required.
- Work with other Functional Leads to make cross-functional decisions specific to Build.
- Review program risks, issues, and escalations pertaining to solution design.
- Identify functional impacts to solutions and KPIs to measure those impacts.
- Disseminate key functional messages for the program.
- Provide input into readiness plans for the function, including deployment tasks.
Integrate & Test:- Support testing strategies (SIT, UAT).
- Remove solution design-specific impediments for the teams.
- Support defect fixing where needed.
- Review test results and functional remediation as applicable.
Deployment:- Support data migration and cutover planning.
- Support post-implementation production support models.
- Drive completion of readiness and deployment tasks for function.
- Issue prioritization.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
- 10+ years in consulting with semiconductor supply chain and ERP-led transformation experience.
- Proven leadership in semiconductor supply chain transformation (S&OP/IBP, planning, fulfillment, logistics)
- Experience in the Hi-Tech / Technology Sector is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale consulting engagements, ERP-led digital transformations and client relationships.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor business models, technology trends, and operational challenges.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Passion for transforming our clients’ businesses to unlock value for their shareholders, clients, and partners.
- Ability to travel up to 4 days a week to multiple local, state and/or national client locations.
- Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team, including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:- MBA or advanced degree preferred; semiconductor/hi-tech industry experience with SAP transformation strongly preferred.
- Strong client-facing skills including presentations to senior leadership, advice and consult with clients.
- Proven program leadership for multi-workstream ERP + supply chain transformations.
- Strong planning, coordination, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to provide guidance to stakeholders in understanding business value of the initiative.
- Ability to interface with customers and other stakeholders with minimal supervision.
- Ability to complete project, with demonstrated commitment to meeting deliverables.
- Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks and self-manage.
Estimated total (base + bonus) annual compensation range for candidates are as indicated below:
$ 210,000 - $ 256,667
