Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced English language Copywriter / Translator to work alongside the Senior Chinese language Copywriter in supporting a financial services client through a rebranding initiative and the development of a structured, scalable content library. This role is responsible for delivering clear, accurate, and brand‑aligned English language copy, as well as high‑quality Chinese‑to‑English translation and localization for regulated financial content.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Write, edit, and refine high‑quality English language copy for financial services products and experiences (e.g. banking, investments, insurance, wealth, digital finance)
  • Translate and localize content from Traditional and Simplified Chinese language into clear, natural, and compliant English language
  • Partner closely with the Senior Chinese language Copywriter to ensure consistency in messaging, terminology, and brand voice across languages
  • Adapt complex financial concepts, product information, and regulatory disclosures into user‑friendly English language content
  • Ensure all English language content meets regulatory, legal, and compliance standards while maintaining clarity and customer trust
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product teams, compliance, and client stakeholders throughout the content lifecycle
  • Participate in content reviews, stakeholder discussions, and usability evaluations to improve comprehension and usability
  • Maintain high standards for accuracy, tone, and consistency across all English language content touchpoints
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Professional English language copywriting or translation experience, preferably in financial services or regulated industries
  • Native or near‑native English language proficiency with strong command of financial and business terminology
  • Proven experience translating Chinese (TC & SC) language financial content into fluent, natural English language
  • Strong understanding of financial products, customer journeys, and risk‑sensitive content requirements
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance‑driven content environments
  • Experience working with CMS platforms or large‑scale, structured content libraries
  • Ability to collaborate closely with Chinese language copywriters, designers, and cross‑functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance clarity, accuracy, and brand storytelling
  • Portfolio demonstrating English language FS copywriting, translation quality, and system‑level content thinking
