Quality Engineering Lead

As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will play a crucial lead role in our team, in defining Test Strategy and driving the POD, Stakeholder communication, Publishing Metrics on status, Automation framework enhancement, setting up Pipelines, Team guidance, troubleshooting and support Hands-on on Automation, API and AI. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will help us deliver exceptional software solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:
In the role you will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders; apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Testing Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation and team leading. Will also be responsible for delivering high quality test scripts and other activities related to project implementation, transition, and warranty.

This position requires hybrid work mode and needs your presence in the office for at least 60% of the workdays every week.


Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
At least 8+ years of experience in Information Technology working in Functional Testing.
Bilingual (Spanish & English) – strong verbal and written communication.
Required Skills:
8+ years of Solid Experience in Automation with Selenium WebDriver
5+ years of Solid Experience in leading a team of 5 members
6+ years of Solid Experience in Python
6+ years of solid experience in other testing types such as API (SoapUI or ReadyAPI or RestAssured), Postman
5+ years of solid experience with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or SQL Server
Strong Verbal and written communication skills in English.
Experience Working with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or Xtreme Programming
Usage of AI tools (Nice to have)
Other Requirements

• Ability to work under tight timelines and manage complex requirements.
• Flexible to work during CST/EST time zones and meet for hand-over activities to India team if needed.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player.
