Your Role
As a Grocery Retail Store Operations – Functional Lead, you will own the end to end functional design and delivery of store level operations for large Retail / Wholesale Grocery transformation programs running on SAP S/4HANA (RISE with SAP – Private Cloud). You will act as the functional owner for in store execution, ensuring SAP solutions effectively support high volume grocery store operations, franchise models, and multi site rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAP Retail Solution Design
  • Lead Fit to Standard / Fit to Gap workshops for store operations.
  • Lead store & franchise lifecycle management, including new store creation, store changes & store closures.
  • Define and execute store deployment and rollout approaches, including pilots, phased rollouts, and large scale deployments.
  • Enable store specific handling of Local vendors, Local assortments and products, Store specific pricing and promotion compliance, Markdowns, label printing, shelf labels, and in store price communication.
  • Own in store merchandise and inventory management processes, including
oStore Goods Receipt (GR)
oStock adjustments and corrections
oPhysical inventory / cycle counts
oStock transfers (store to store, DC to store)
oWaste, spoilage, and shrink handling
oStore inventory visibility
  • Act as functional owner for store level POS sales processes and daily operations and ensure store transaction accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure documentation and controls meet Infosys delivery and audit standards.
  • Collaborate with ABAP teams on WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Execute end-to-end solution testing (Unit, SIT, UAT) and support defect resolution.
  • Prepare cutover plans, support go-live activities including issue resolution, functional checks, and migration validation.
  • Provide hyper care support and drive post‑go‑live stabilization.
  • Conduct training for key users and business teams on retail processes and Fiori applications.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with project standards.

Skills
Must have
  • Experience in grocery or high volume retail in Store operations
  • Strong knowledge of S/4HANA Retail processes
  • Strong functional knowledge of store operations and inventory processes
  • POS integration
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

Nice to have
  • Exposure to SAP CAR and store data models
  • Proven experience in store rollouts and franchise environments
  • Omnichannel store fulfilment experience
  • Multi country retail rollout exposure
