In the assigned Job Role of Architecture Principal, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

⦁ Partner with business stakeholders and oversee requirement elicitation process, to align requirements with immediate and prospective market demands.
⦁ Drive scalable and secure architectural designs ensuring compliance with architectural standards, integration of appropriate security measures and smooth integration with existing systems.
⦁ Lead and anchor solution evaluation efforts, assessing the client’s existing landscape to recommend integrated, stable, and future-proof solutions. Develop a strategic roadmap for future transformation and communicate the same to client stakeholders.
⦁ Create roadmap for integration of architectural solutions basis system risk landscape and define short, medium and long-term milestones, ensuring alignment with organization's overall technology and business goals.
⦁ Define strategies for large-scale transitions and modernization initiatives.
⦁ Act as an advisor to technical teams and client stakeholders. Build client relationships, assess client feedback obtained by the team and provide insights on plans to be actioned upon basis the feedback.
⦁ Drive performance optimization initiatives for the enterprise architectural landscape and provide insights on technological risk areas and related mitigation strategies.
⦁ Oversee the creation and dissemination of critical organizational technical knowledge.
⦁ Contribute to proposals and go-to market materials by collaborating with sales teams and provide insights on specialized methodologies and architectural solutions during client engagement.
⦁ Represent the organization in industry forums and contribute to professional publications.

Competências e experiência exigidas

Experience in Computer Vision model development: object detection, tracking, segmentation, action recognition, 3D vision, spatio-temporal modeling.
•Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, and model optimization frameworks (TensorRT, pruning, quantization).
•Knowledge of time-series forecasting, sensor fusion, and multi-modal ML.
•Experience with NVIDIA DeepStream, GPU compute, CUDA fundamentals, and accelerated inference.
•Understanding of data engineering, real-time analytics, and distributed systems.
•Proficiency in complex SQL; familiarity with NoSQL/Graph DBs (Neo4j, MongoDB) is preferred.
•Experience in leading large engineering Programs in AI/ML-heavy programs.
•Delivery experience for mass-scale retail technology implementations or similar high-volume environments.
•Ability to build, mentor, and scale engineering teams across geographies.
•Strong decision-making abilities and a structured problem-solving mindset.

Competências e experiência desejadas

•Experience with Big Box Retail, Grocery, Warehousing, or Smart Store environments is highly desirable.
•Understanding of store workflows, loss prevention, inventory tracking, and merchandising analytics.
•Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, Robotics, or related fields.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership & Strategy
•Define and lead the technology vision, AI roadmap, and architectural strategy for a large-scale Computer Vision program involving 1000+ edge devices and multi-store deployments.
•Drive adoption of NVIDIA GPU acceleration frameworks including DeepStream, Metropolis, Triton Inference Server, TAO Toolkit, NGC models.
•Provide leadership across Computer Vision, Time-Series ML, RFID data processing, and multi-modal fusion pipelines.
•Evaluate emerging technologies (Vision Transformers, LLM-based CV, Edge AI, real-time model compression) and drive POCs.
2. Architecture & System Design
• Architect high-throughput, low-latency pipelines for video ingestion, CV inference, tracking, and real-time event generation.
•Integrate complex data sources including RFID, IoT sensors, Store POS, Customer movement patterns, and convert them into actionable insights.
•Ensure production-grade architecture using Docker, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), distributed systems, and observability tools.
3. Program & Delivery Management
•Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams (CV, MLEs, MLOps, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, QA, Product).
•Ensure high-quality delivery across all phases — from research to model deployment to store rollout.
4. MLOps & Platform Engineering
•Oversee end-to-end ML pipeline automation: data ingestion, labeling, training workflows, CI/CD for ML, monitoring, drift detection.
• Implement scalable MLOps frameworks using tools like KubeFlow, MLflow, Airflow, Triton, ONNX Runtime, and GPU optimized inference stacks.
•Champion security, compliance, and responsible AI practices across the ecosystem.
5. Stakeholder & Client Management
•Engage with senior client executives, engineering directors, store operations heads, and product teams.
•Translate business and operational needs into technical designs and solution architectures.
•Drive thought leadership and consultative guidance for next-gen retail transformation using AI & CV.
