About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced SuccessFactors Employee Central Lead to oversee and drive EC related projects, continuous enhancements, and innovation initiatives. This role goes beyond operational support, focusing on delivering strategic improvements, leading functional design, and shaping the direction of EC capabilities in partnership with HR and IT leadership.
You will champion EC best practices, guide configuration excellence, oversee integrations, and ensure the solution evolves to meet business needs. The ideal candidate brings strong functional depth, leadership capabilities, and a passion for driving digital HR transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership of EC Enhancements & Projects
• Lead end to end delivery of EC enhancement initiatives, small to medium projects, and optimisation programs.
• Own the EC roadmap and ensure alignment with organisational HR technology strategy.
• Drive innovation by identifying new features, functionalities, and process improvements.
• Act as the EC solution architect during project cycles (requirements, design, build, test, deploy).
2. Stakeholder & Business Engagement
• Serve as the primary onshore EC functional lead and trusted advisor to HR stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, define solution approaches, and present design proposals.
• Engage and influence HR, IT, and leadership teams to ensure adoption of EC capabilities.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
3. Functional Design & Configuration Ownership
• Lead configuration activities across Employee Central:
• Ensure consistent solution governance and best practice configuration standards.
• Oversee regression testing, release readiness, and impact assessment for biannual SF releases.
4. Integration Leadership & Issue Resolution
• Provide functional oversight for integrations between EC and:
• Lead cross functional troubleshooting with offshore teams and technical experts.
• Ensure robust integration designs that support scalable HR processes.
5. Data Governance & Quality Management
• Oversee master data quality, validation processes, and governance controls.
• Lead data migrations, mass updates, and template-based data loads.
• Monitor EC data integrity and ensure compliance with HR policies.
6. Documentation, Governance & Continuous Improvement
• Maintain high quality documentation, functional specs, SOPs, and design artefacts.
• Ensure adherence to change management practices and audit controls.
• Track KPIs for enhancement delivery and continuous improvement outcomes.
• Mentor junior consultants and offshore team members.
