Infosys is seeking an Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) Principal Consultant. The position will primarily be responsible for driving the end-to-end solution for HCM. The selected candidate should have an expertise in ensuring deliverables meet functional requirements and design specifications. Candidate will interact with customer process consultants and business SME to understand and analyze various processes. Candidate will be responsible for documenting and preparing the configuration activities. Candidate will be contributing to solution in different phases of the consulting lifecycle. Candidate will be intensely involved in business process consulting; candidate will define the problem, propose and create the solution. Candidate will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. Candidate will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. Candidate will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End HCM Solution Architecture
Define and own the overall HCM solution architecture across all Fusion HCM modules (Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Talent, Recruiting, Compensation, Time & Labor).
Ensure solution designs align with business strategy, HR operating models, and Oracle Cloud best practices.
Create architecture blueprints, module integration mappings, and end-to-end process flows.
2. Requirements Gathering and Fit-Gap Analysis
Lead requirement workshops with HR leadership, COEs, and SMEs.
Conduct fit-gap analyses across global HR processes and identify custom extensions, integrations, or configuration needs.
Translate business requirements into scalable and compliant functional designs.
3. Configuration Governance and Solution Validation
Oversee and validate configurations across all HCM modules.
Provide functional direction to module leads (Core HR, Absence, Payroll, etc.).
Ensure coherent data models, harmonized configurations, and cross-module alignment.
4. Integration Architecture and Data Flows
Define and validate integrations between HCM and: Payroll systems, time systems, ERP/Finance, Identity / IAM systems and benefits providers
Work with OIC teams to guide API, HCM Extracts, and BIP-based integration patterns.
5. Data Migration Oversight
Define HCM data conversion strategy for workforce structures, work relationships, assignments, payroll, and compensation data.
Validate migration templates, mapping logic, and data quality checkpoints.
Oversee mock loads and final cutover data readiness.
6. Testing, Change Management and Deployment
Define end-to-end testing strategy for SIT, UAT, regression, and parallel payroll testing.
Support training teams with process flows, configuration walkthroughs, and user guidance.
Lead deployment readiness assessments and resolve cross-functional issues.
7. Governance, Compliance and Security
Ensure HR data privacy, legal compliance, role-based access, and security controls.
Define and review job roles, duty roles, and custom HCM security policies.
Support SOX/audit requirements and HR governance standards.
8. Thought Leadership and Stakeholder Management
Advise CHRO, HR leaders, and project sponsors on transformation roadmaps.
Present solution alternatives, risks, and recommendations.
Provide leadership to functional consultants and mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with at least 3 or more major HCM modules: Global HR, Absence Management, Time & Labor, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, Compensation
Strong understanding of global HR processes, HR operations, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas (Payroll, Absence, Benefits), BI Publisher, OTBI & Dashboards, REST & SOAP APIs for HCM
Familiarity with role-based security, workforce structures, and global/local HR configuration.
Experience leading at least two full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations.
Strong ability to guide design decisions, perform cross-module impact analysis, and own architecture governance.
Experience leading large HR transformation programs across global organizations.
Ability to create Architecture documents, solution design documents, data flow diagrams
Experience with Security models, Test strategy documents
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Cloud certifications - Oracle HCM Cloud, Global HR, and/or HCM Talent Management.
Experience with multi-country implementations
External LMS, Benefits platforms
Exposure to Journeys, AI/ML, Digital Assistants, VBCS Extensions
Experience in migrating from Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or custom HR systems
Experience in industries such as Food and Beverage is preferred
