Contract Compliance Specialist

Hybrid-Shift timings (CST) - 7 AM - 4PM or 8 AM - 5PM

In the role of Process Specialist, you will execute transactions as per prescribed guidelines and timelines, reviews and validates the inputs from the other team members, support your manager in training activities, daily operations reviews and help in escalation resolution with the objective to meet service level agreement targets for the specific process within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Review contracts and identify important clauses of the contract
  • Validate appropriate payment terms as per contract, duration and scope of the agreement
  • Research sourcing repository for ascertaining if a certain supplier has single/multiple contracts
  • Identify parent/child relationship between suppliers through internal research/ external research (Internet search)
  • Prioritize vendor ID setup and make sure no requests are older than 30 days
  • Review contracts and determine if a request has to be cancelled or payment terms have to be updated.
  • Manage contract compliance mailbox and make sure all requests are handled the same day
  • Review the supplier documents (for vendor ID set-up) as per the standard operating procedure and suggest changes required to Supplier, if required.
  • Understand upstream and downstream vendor master process and drive effort towards achieving consistent information across ERPs.
  • Review existing ERP-Sourcing structures and suggest improvements which helps in increasing the integration between them.
  • Liaise with cross functional teams and maintain lower queue in the contract compliance dashboard and mailbox
  • Knowledge of advanced excel functions – VLOOKUP, Pivots, etc.
  • Knowledge of different sourcing categories and contract lifecycle
  • Contract Management experience
  • Desirable skill set (not mandatory):
    • Experience in telecom industry
    • Expertise in SAP and PeopleSoft ERPs
Qualifications
Basic
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 2 year of relevant work experience
