Infosys is seeking GIS Associate Consultant with strong foundational knowledge in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), especially with Esri technologies, to support GIS solution development, analysis, and implementation for our enterprise clients. Candidates should be passionate about applying GIS concepts to real‑world enterprise challenges.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
• Experience with scripting using Python OR experience with .Net application development.

Preferred Skills:
• Strong academic background in GIS, Cartography, Spatial Analysis, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience (through coursework or projects) with:
•Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise
•Web mapping concepts and spatial data management
•Geodatabases, feature services, and geoprocessing tools
• Basic exposure to web GIS technologies (JavaScript API, HTML/CSS) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
• Understanding of basic system integration concepts and experience supporting integration and testing activities.
• Willingness to assist during deployment, go‑live, and post‑production support phases.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams including developers, solution architects, and QA analysts.
• Interest in researching emerging GIS technologies, tools, and best practices to support continuous improvement.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
