Role Description:
We’re seeking a Mid‑Level SAP BTP Integration Developer with strong hands‑on experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh). You will design, build, and support integrations across SAP and non‑SAP systems in Agile environments.

Location: Melbourne
Salary: AUD 108,571 – 119,893 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver integrations end‑to‑end using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, APIM, Event Mesh).
  • Work within SAFe/Agile teams to implement features and stories across SAP programs.
  • Develop reusable, scalable integration patterns (sync/async, event‑driven, pub‑sub, batch).
  • Create technical documentation: integration specs, mapping, process flows, interface contracts.
  • Configure and support adapters/protocols: HTTP, REST/SOAP, OData, SFTP, IDoc, AMQP/JMS.
  • Implement secure file‑based integrations (SFTP/FTPS/AS2).
  • Ensure integrations meet security, privacy, and Australian data residency requirements.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines for iFlow/API deployments using Git and Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub.
  • Provide L3 support, monitoring, issue resolution, and performance tuning.
  • Support ALE/IDoc integrations for ECC/S/4HANA.

Essential:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 10 years total IT experience, with 5+ years in SAP integrations.


Preferred:
  • Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI/APIM/Event Mesh).
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns and common protocols (REST, SOAP, IDoc, SFTP).
  • Experience working in Agile/SAFe delivery environments.
  • Understanding of integration security, authentication (OAuth/SAML/JWT), certificates, key management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, monitor, and optimise CPI integrations.
  • Experience with S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or Concur integrations.
  • Experience with API lifecycle management in SAP APIM.
  • Exposure to event‑driven integrations and topic/message design.
  • Knowledge of Australian compliance requirements (Privacy Act, data residency).
  • Familiarity with CAP (Node.js/Java) and its integration with BTP.
