Senior Principal Consultant- Enterprise Data, Life Sciences

Infosys Consulting is seeking an accomplished, forward-thinking Enterprise Data Senior Principal with deep expertise in data strategy, modern data platforms, advanced analytics, and AI/ML–enabled transformation programs.
This role is ideal for a consulting leader who brings a strong blend of enterprise data architecture, data governance, cloud data modernization, and business transformation experience across large global enterprises.

As a senior consulting professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping next‑generation, AI‑augmented data ecosystems—where intelligent, autonomous data services govern, orchestrate, and activate enterprise-wide data for real-time decision-making. You will collaborate closely with clients across industries to design and deliver data‑driven business transformations, while contributing to internal capability development, thought leadership, and strategic firm‑building initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead strategic enterprise data transformation programs for global clients, including data strategy, data modernization, and AI‑driven operating model redesign.
  • Provide thought leadership and vision on next‑gen data architectures, lakehouse platforms, metadata-driven pipelines, and agentic AI–powered data ecosystems.
  • Develop and deploy intelligent data platforms leveraging cloud-native services, automation frameworks, and self-optimizing data products.
  • Guide clients in transitioning from traditional BI ecosystems to autonomous, goal-driven data environments capable of adapting dynamically to business events, regulatory changes, and operational variability.
  • Drive definition and implementation of enterprise information models, data governance frameworks, data quality solutions, and master data strategies.
  • Partner with technology, domain, and analytics teams to conceptualize and implement high-value AI/ML and GenAI use cases across the enterprise.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder programs spanning CDO organizations, business units, IT leadership, cloud partners, and data engineering teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, influencing decisions through data-driven insights, architectural best practices, and future-state visioning.
  • Mentor and coach consulting teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and capability growth.
  • Contribute actively to IC thought leadership through whitepapers, PoVs, frameworks, and accelerators in data and AI.
  • Drive practice development through recruiting support, community initiatives, knowledge sharing, and capability incubation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 9+ years of total experience, including 7+ years in consulting focused on data, analytics, or digital transformation.
  • Proven experience designing or leading programs in enterprise data architecture, cloud data platforms, governance, metadata, and data quality.
  • Strong understanding of leading cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data platforms (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric).
  • Experience delivering AI/ML or GenAI–enabled use cases and data solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and engage with C‑suite stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions.
  • Expertise with tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and project management platforms to build client‑ready deliverables.
  • Ability to manage global, cross-functional, multi-vendor delivery teams.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Data, Analytics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or data engineering (Databricks, Snowflake, Collibra, Informatica, etc.).
  • Hands-on implementation experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalents.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale data governance solutions (Collibra, Alation, Informatica Axon/EDC, etc.).
  • Strong client-facing skills, including facilitation workshops, architecture review sessions, and executive presentations.
  • Ability to articulate the business value of data and AI initiatives to non-technical stakeholders.

Estimated annual compensation will be as follows: In NY/NJ : $241,000 - $300,000
