Short Description:

The Business Analyst role focuses on Aviation MRO systems and software implementation, serving as the key link between business requirements and technical solutions. This position is responsible for driving end-to-end implementation of aviation maintenance and engineering systems, managing complex projects, and ensuring seamless integration of enterprise solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end implementation of aviation MRO solutions, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Gather and document business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate with technical teams for solution design.
  • Lead integration projects including REST API, SAP, and Boeing Toolbox, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for seamless system interoperability.
  • Manage change requests and stakeholder communication, acting as the primary liaison between business teams and technical resources.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation, ensuring compliance with SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Provide technical design input for minor change requests and troubleshooting issues to maintain system stability and performance.
  • Drive innovation and process improvements, leveraging best practices to optimize aviation maintenance and engineering workflows.


Skills /Competencies:

  • Product Implementation & Customer Support
  • Technical Knowledge: Ultramain product expertise, object-oriented design principles, design patterns
  • Programming: Java, Java EE, Hibernate
  • Debugging & Troubleshooting
  • Development Practices: Test-driven development, SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Database Management: Oracle DB


Preferred:
  • Experience in large-scale airline or aviation projects
  • Exposure to aircraft health monitoring, inventory management, and invoicing modules
  • Bachelor’s (or equivalent education qualifications) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines

Additional Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices, REST API integration, test-driven development, and strong understanding of current technology trends and security/compliance practices.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze complex issues, identify patterns, troubleshoot effectively, and make sound decisions using both logic and creativity.
  • Highly organized, thrives in fast-paced environments, manages multiple priorities, leverages best practices, and innovates with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills: ability to identify patterns and generate ideas.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams and interacting professionally with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation skills, and ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
