Infosys is seeking a Mainframe Lead primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Provide Tier 3 Support for NMA including:
Provide code fixes
Prepare enhancements
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities
Thoroughly test any software changes
Successfully build and deploy any software changes to production
Assist the Tier 2 Support team as needed including:
Analyzing and responding to user (end-user or Tier 1, Tier 2 developers) questions and problems
Administering user access
Providing routine system maintenance
Maintaining system interfaces
Remediating system overload issues"
Minimum 4 years of experience using VOS on a Stratus platform
Minimum 4 years of experience programming in PL/1 and/or C

Experience with NMA
Experience with telecom OSS, Ericsson/Telcordia/Bellcore
Experience working in a high-availability, 24/7 environment
Experience with interfacing applications on multiple platforms
Experience with Unix/Linux
Experience with IBM mainframes
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
