Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP Basis Consultant
As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
- This position may require travel to Project / client locations.
- This role may Involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in Detailed patching and system parameter configuration of servers and landscape.
- At least 4 years of experience in doing Archiving and Security patching.
- Experience in Problem management, Root cause analysis and Trouble shooting skills.
- At least 4 years of experience in knowledge with SAP ECC , BW, GRC, Solution manager both ABAP and Net weaver Java Stack systems with SQL, Oracle DB Databases.
- At least 4 years of experience in performance matrix and troubleshooting requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting.
- Analytical and Communication skills
- Planning and Co-ordination skills
- Knowledge of Solution Manager Alert setup (Technical Monitoring and configurations) customization. Knowledge of other functionality within Solution Manager is beneficial but not required.
- Manage freeze periods, emergency changes, retrofit activities and decommissioning of systems during the upgrades and Migrations.
- Knowledge of Release Management concepts and processes
- Knowledge of Transport Management concepts and processes
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ: $73,000 to $102,200
In Washington, DC: $66,500 to $100,300
