Role: Associate Practice Engagement Manager, Data Analytics & AI


Location: Japan (Tokyo Office)


Role Description:
Infosys is seeking an Associate Practice Engagement Manager for its Data & Analytics Practice. The Associate Practice Engagement Manager (APEM) is responsible for all client interfaces within the assigned account scope. The APEM works together with their manager to build accounts plan and is responsible for client management based on the account plans. Usually, the APEM handles multiple accounts, with an indicative annual book of business of up to $10 million.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships, build a portfolio up to $ 5M-10M, own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close
  • Drive the sales strategy for data and analytics services, and identify and pursue new business opportunities in a specific vertical
  • Work closely with internal teams, including delivery, consulting, CTO Organization, marketing, AI and analytics team, to ensure alignment between client expectations and service offerings
  • Go-to market – build a strong go to market with contextualized offerings relevant for clients, partnerships in order to address client needs comprehensively and in a differentiated manner, planning and executing campaigns for pipeline creation.
  • Client delivery assurance: collaborate with all delivery stakeholders involved to ensure fulfilment of all commitments to the client
  • Account planning and governance: create the account plan including relationships required, opportunities to be pursued, price decisions, etc.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bilingual with strong business Japanese skills (JLPT N1/N2).
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • Significant business development and sales experience on Data/Analytics/AI
  • Experience with Data on Cloud Sales
  • Track record of interacting and building relationships with C-level client contacts
  • Hands-on experience with Data/analytics proposal creation and leading Data/Analytics presentations and workshops for deals
  • Experience in building business cases and utilizing those for business value articulation and negotiations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience
  • We are seeking candidates who are fluent in Japanese (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders. Proficiency in Japanese is essential for this role.
