Role Description: Are you passionate about leading transformative technology strategies? We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer experienced in Full Stack to join our team

Location: Sydney, Australia

Salary: AUD 129,311– 142,018 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of modern web applications using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and component-based design systems.

• Develop and integrate backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, Python/FastAPI, Azure Functions, and REST patterns.

• Build AI-enabled application features using enterprise LLM platforms, including Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Anthropic APIs.

• Implement conversational interfaces, real-time token streaming, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, and human-in-the-loop approval workflows.

• Design maintainable frontend platforms using microfrontend architecture, Nx, Module Federation, Storybook, and reusable component libraries.

• Partner with product, design, architecture, security, data, and backend teams to define API contracts and deliver end-to-end outcomes.

• Create automated tests, evaluation datasets, quality gates, and release evidence for both conventional software and AI-enabled features.

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, release automation, observability, and production monitoring across Azure or AWS environments.

• Investigate production issues using logs and telemetry, perform root-cause analysis, and drive fixes through to resolution.

• Contribute to technical documentation, engineering standards, code reviews, sprint planning, refinement, and mentoring of engineers.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial delivery experience in senior full stack or frontend-led engineering roles.

• Advanced experience with React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, Next.js or Vite, and responsive component-based application development.

• Hands-on backend and integration experience using Node.js and REST APIs; working knowledge of Python/FastAPI or C#/.NET is highly valued.

• Experience delivering AI-enabled applications using large language model APIs, prompt or context engineering, structured outputs, and retrieval-based patterns.

• Practical experience with automated testing, code review standards, CI/CD, release management, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Experience working in established enterprise codebases and delivering features through Agile planning, refinement, testing, release, and support.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.

• Experience in telecommunications, financial services, professional services, or another highly governed environment.

• Experience establishing frontend engineering standards, component conventions, and testing protocols.

• Exposure to Supabase, PostgreSQL with pgvector, or hybrid search implementations.

• Experience leading small engineering teams or mentoring developers.

• Scrum Master, Kanban, cloud, or relevant engineering certifications.

• Open-source contributions or demonstrable delivery of production-grade AI applications.
