In the assigned Job Role of Infrastructure Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
⦁ Resolve Tier 1 incidents and assist in performing root cause analysis and documenting incidents, unresolved issues or security concerns, ensuring resolution using established tools and techniques⦁ Participate in discussions with internal teams at onsite and offshore and execute onsite-specific activities as per agreed plan⦁ Document methodologies, activities, and techniques to ensure knowledge sharing across teams and projects⦁ Assist in preparing environments for deployment, execute deployment plans according to detailed instructions, and support post-deployment testing to validate release success⦁ Support scheduled maintenance, emergency fixes, and system enhancements, adhering to defined procedures and best practices⦁ Monitor system performance metrics, report deviations, and follow procedures for initial analysis and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance

Aptitudes et expérience requises
•Hands-on experience managing enterprise databases, performing troubleshooting and performance analysis, supporting database upgrades and migrations, and working closely with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database availability and reliability.
• Administer, monitor, and maintain Sybase and or DB2 database environments.
• Perform routine database administration activities, including user management, backups, restores, health checks, and database monitoring.
• Support database performance tuning and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Execute database maintenance activities, patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Assist with database and data center migration projects, including planning, testing, validation, and post-migration support.
• Analyze SQL queries and execution plans to improve database performance and efficiency.
• Monitor database availability, storage utilization, and system performance metrics.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve production issues and ensure service stability.
• Participate in incidents, problem, and change management activities following ITIL practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
Aptitudes et expérience souhaitées
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in production support environments and handle critical incidents.
• Experience supporting data center or database migration projects.
• Exposure to AutoSys job scheduling.
• Shell scripting experience in Linux/Unix environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and performance analysis tools.
Exigences supplémentaires requises
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
