Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead to drive quality engineering, test automation, business analysis, and product ownership activities. The role involves defining test strategies, leading automation initiatives, managing defect governance, gathering and analyzing requirements, supporting backlog prioritization, collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise applications through Agile delivery practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

- 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Burnaby, BC or be willing to relocate to one of these areas. This position may require travel.
- At least 4 years of software testing experience.
Required Skills
- Test strategy, test design, and quality engineering leadership.
- Automation framework development and maintenance.
- Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, UAT, Exploratory Testing, Compatibility Testing, and Data Validation.
- Defect lifecycle management, defect triage, quality metrics, and release readiness activities.
- Requirement gathering, requirement analysis, and requirement documentation.
- Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Product backlog management, roadmap planning, and feature validation.
- Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
- Stakeholder management and backlog prioritization.
- Object-oriented programming concepts and automation framework development.
- Selenium WebDriver or similar automation tools.
- Code review, optimization, and mentoring activities.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
The estimated annual compensation for this role in Burnaby, British Columbia, is expected to range from $82280 to $120754
