In the role of Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables.
As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews, specifically driving enterprise-level strategies for asset lifecycles and capital investment portfolios. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building. Required Technical Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP Finance/Controlling experience with a minimum of 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations, preferably in life sciences.

• Lead design workshops for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling, with a deep focus on Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Investment Management (IM), and CAPEX tracking.

• Comprehensive expertise in managing the end-to-end asset lifecycle: asset acquisition, construction in progress (AuC/CWIP), capitalization, depreciation runs, asset retirement, and modifications.

• Strong integration knowledge between SAP FI-AA, Project Systems (PS), and Investment Management (IM) for planning, budgeting, and executing capital expenditure projects.

• Deep understanding of settlement rules and profile configurations to shift costs from internal orders or WBS elements to Fixed Assets.

• Deep expertise in the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New GL, parallel valuation/ledgers for Fixed Assets (multi-GAAP compliance like IFRS, US GAAP, and local stats), and currency setups in Asset Accounting.

• Configure and deploy core S/4HANA Finance and Asset functionalities, including New Asset Accounting architecture, asset class structure, account determinations, screen layout controls, investment programs, appropriation requests, and budget control alerts.

• Map capital management and asset accounting processes while ensuring alignment with GxP and SOX compliance needs.

• SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting Certification.

• SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting Certification.

• Hands-on experience with SAP Real Estate Management (RE-FX) for Right-of-Use (RoU) asset accounting under IFRS 16 / ASC 842.

• Knowledge about Data migration for Assets in S/4HANA.
