Role Overview & Expanded Key Responsibilities

•Cloud Platform Architecture (Red Hat Focused)
Architect, deploy, and operate Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) and Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) as the foundational telco cloud stack.
•Vendor & Ecosystem Integration
Integrate and support telco network functions and platforms from Nokia, Ericsson, VMware, and other vendors on OpenShift/OpenStack.
•Networking (Telco‑Grade & High‑Performance)
Design and troubleshoot high‑performance networking and align platform networking with telco datapath, low‑latency, and high‑throughput requirements.
•Lifecycle Management & Day‑2 Operations
Installations, upgrades, patching, scaling, and capacity management from Day 0.
Perform OpenShift and OpenStack version upgrades
•Automation, DevOps, and GitOps
Enable GitOps‑based operations using Argo CD or equivalent tools.
Standardize platform deployment via Red Hat–aligned blueprints and templates.
•Reliability, Observability & SRE Enablement
Integrate observability using Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana and Centralized logging (EFK / Loki). Collaborate closely with SRE, NOC, and orchestration teams to ensure SLA compliance.

  • Infrastructure Project Delivery & Governance – Stage‑gated project lifecycle, infra‑led delivery, dependency & risk management
  • Cloud & Telco Platforms – Red Hat OpenShift (OCP), Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP), VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V
  • Telco Cloud - CNF/NFV awareness
  • Automation & IaC Enablement – Terraform, Ansible, automation‑first delivery models
  • DevOps / GitOps Practices – Argo CD, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Git‑driven deployments
  • Lifecycle & Day‑2 Operations Readiness – OpenShift/OpenStack upgrades, patching, scaling, capacity and lifecycle planning
  • Reliability & SRE Alignment – SRE principles, SLA/SLO awareness, resilience, DR/BCP integration
  • Observability & Monitoring Enablement – Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, EFK / Loki logging
